All I can say is, Boy have pencil sharpeners came a long way!! WOW! I received this one in exchange for a honest and unbiased review. I have found it to be awesome! I do not think any of my pencils have ever been so nicely sharpened! I had one similar to this one that solely ran on batteries that did no where near the job this one does. I really like that this one can be ran on batteries or electric. It is made very well and seem to be sturdy.. not cheaply. Looks nice on the desk. One last positive note, who knew that you could get different points of sharpness? You can sharpen to - blunt, medium or sharp. How cool is that! I would definitely recommend this pencil sharpener.
